JASK Appoints Jessica Couto Head of Channel to Broaden and Deepen Partner Commitment

Former IntSights, Hexadite, Carbonite, Bit9 and Kaspersky Lab Channel Leader is Setting Sights on a 100 Percent Channel Strategy for Rapidly-Growing Cybersecurity Startup

SAN FRANCISCO – October 11, 2018 – JASK, the provider of the industry’s first Autonomous Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform, today announced that channel veteran Jessica Couto is joining its leadership team as Vice President of Worldwide Channel. Building on a long history with some of the world’s most successful cybersecurity organizations, Couto will lead the company in broadening and deepening its commitment to global channel expansion through the JASK Answers Partner Network.

Couto has spent over 13 years building channel programs, and has a long history of partner development in the security market for companies that include IntSights, Hexadite (acquired by Microsoft), Carbonite, Bit9 (acquired Carbon Black) and Kaspersky Lab. Through this experience, she has forged strong relationships with major resellers and partners in the space both nationally and globally, and has developed a reputation for establishing channel programs that are built to last and are highly profitable for resellers, partners and organizations alike.

“As with any relationship, people prefer to deal with those they know, like and trust. Jessica has formed those genuine relationships with top executives at local, national and global partners of all types and sizes,” said Greg Martin, CEO of JASK. “With the channel central to our go-to-market strategy, we’re thrilled to have one of the best channel talents in the industry joining our powerhouse executive team to reaffirm our commitment to our partners and customers.”

Already building JASK’s talented channel team, Couto brings two former Tanium employees with her to JASK: Chuck Clements and Kimber Garrett. Clements spent more than 11 years in the cybersecurity channel at companies including SailPoint, Carbon Black, Cyber-Ark, Intel and McAfee. He joins JASK as Senior Channel Account Manager, U.S. East. Garrett has more than 15 years of channel and complex sales experience in the computer networking and security fields, having worked for MobileIron, Trend Micro, Nexum, Solid Border, Blue Coat and McAfee. She joins the JASK team as Senior Channel Manager.

Couto and the channel team will enhance the JASK Answers Partner Network by creating a variety of programs, solutions, tools, trainings and content that address a broad range of partner needs. She will focus on making it easier for channel teams to work with JASK, ultimately winning business, furthering market penetration and growing profitability. Her efforts will also extend the ASOC platform to be more alliance-friendly, enhancing existing products already in place and ensuring JASK meets all requirements and needs within customer deployments and beyond through long-term customer engagements.

“JASK is known to be channel-focused and channel-friendly, but what really drew me to the company is its leadership team and company culture. It’s rare to see a team with this depth of experience under one roof, and I’m excited to join a company so invested in doing things right from the ground up,” said Couto. “JASK is equally built to last. The ASOC platform is positioned to disrupt SIEM while addressing the skills gap in the SOC – it’s a solution that meets customer needs today, as well as tomorrow and in the future.”

Since its launch earlier this year, the JASK Answers Partner Network has experienced rapid growth. JASK currently works with partners including AssuranceData, Tevora, Optiv, Sayers, Nvidia, CSSI, Ignition, Set Solutions and NaviLogic. Its technology alliances include Cylance, AWS, RSA, Cloudera, Demisto, Gigamon, Digital Shadows, Anomali, Phantom, Carbon Black, Slack and Google.
