Achieving Highest APN Technology Partner Tier Provides JASK with Additional Tools and Resources from AWS to Deepen Investment in Cloud-Native SIEM
AUSTIN, Texas — April 29, 2019 — JASK, provider of one of the industry’s first cloud-native SIEM platforms, today announced it has earned Advanced Technology Partner status in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN). This achievement illustrates JASK’s deep expertise on building a SIEM platform natively on AWS. The APN is a global program designed to help APN members build successful AWS-based businesses and solutions by providing business, technical, marketing and go-to-market support.
The APN Advanced Technology Partner designation, the highest tier for APN Technology Partners, is for organizations that provide software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. JASK achieved APN Advanced Technology Partner status through a rigorous qualification process. The designation is based on AWS business history and references from JASK customers.
JASK is a SIEM in the cloud, for the cloud. The ASOC platform was built on AWS by some of the world’s foremost architects in cloud-native development, including Rob Fry, VP of Engineering at JASK and former lead architect for cloud security at Netflix – one of the largest cloud-native companies in the world. As a result, JASK ASOC uniquely understands what cloud data to monitor and how to monitor it.
“There’s no doubt that SIEM platforms are ready for a move to the cloud,” said Fry. “It provides SOC teams with leap-level benefits by easily aggregating high volumes of usage and activity data while providing easy programmatic interfaces for retrieval and analysis in the cloud. AWS has had the most appealing and advanced offerings for security and is a leading provider of cloud technology and services. We’ve derived tremendous value from the APN and look forward to benefiting even more from our advanced status.”
As a cloud-native platform, JASK ASOC fully leverages the elastic capabilities of cloud computing, such as horizontal-scaling data-ingestion pipelines, to ensure it scales to handle any data volume that customers desire. AWS also affords JASK the processing power necessary for the analytics that provides automated alert triage, ensuring seamless monitoring of both cloud and on-premises infrastructure in a single platform. JASK ASOC works with AWS CloudTrail, Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) Flow Logs to ingest, aggregate, and analyze the diverse AWS ecosystem for investigation and identification of threats and risks as part of JASK Insights.
JASK is modernizing security operations by delivering an advanced SIEM platform that provides better visibility, better automation and a better architecture. Built on cloud-native technologies, the JASK ASOC platform streamlines security analyst workflows by automating many of the repetitive tasks that restrict productivity, freeing them for higher-value roles like threat hunting and vulnerability management, while addressing the escalating talent shortage. www.jask.com
