NVIDIA GPUs Cut Down Training Time for JASK’s Machine Learning Models
SAN FRANCISCO and AUSTIN, Texas – June 6, 2018 – JASK, the provider of the industry’s first Autonomous Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform, today announced it has joined the NVIDIA Inception program, which is designed to nurture startups revolutionizing industries with advancements in AI and data sciences.
JASK has already incorporated NVIDIA’s advanced graphics processing unit (GPU) technology into its ASOC platform to create a comprehensive, end-to-end sequence of machine learning components that consistently deliver contextual threat information quickly to SOC analysts. Harnessing the processing power of NVIDIA’s GPU technology, JASK has also been able to cut its machine learning model training time down by 10x – allowing its data science team to train more models faster and put them into production for enterprise customers.
“Our goal is to deliver AI-driven security insights to our customers”, said Rob Fry, vice president of engineering at JASK. “By using NVIDIA’s GPU technology to bolster our machine learning models, JASK has advanced the ASOC platform’s ability to arm SOC teams with real-time information needed to make fast, smart security decisions.”
While organizations recognize that effective security practices are a must, there is currently a significant shortage of cybersecurity professionals. In fact, Cybersecurity Ventures projects that there will be a global shortage of 3.5 million security jobs by 2021. To make up for this glaring gap, forward-thinking business leaders rely on vendors like JASK to automate parts of SOC analyst workflows and deploy solutions that provide necessary threat insights quickly and effectively.
The JASK ASOC platform uses AI and machine learning to deliver actionable threat insights that prioritize the way a security operations center (SOC) analyst monitors, analyzes and investigates threats. By fusing data gathered with alerts from existing security solutions, JASK automates the correlation and analysis of threat alerts to deliver advanced insights based on records of activity across the networks, users and endpoints for enterprise customers.
NVIDIA’s Inception program is a virtual accelerator program that helps startups during critical stages of product development, prototyping and deployment. Every Inception member gets a custom set of ongoing benefits, from hardware grants and marketing support to training with deep learning experts.
JASK is modernizing security operations to reduce organizational risk and improve human efficiency. Through technology consolidation, enhanced AI and machine learning, the JASK Autonomous Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform automates the correlation and analysis of threat alerts, helping SOC analysts focus on highest-priority threats, streamlining investigations and delivering faster response times. http://www.jask.com/
