Leading Security Startup Recognized for its Collaborative Environment and Employee-First Culture
AUSTIN, Texas – November 5, 2018 – JASK, the provider of the industry’s first Autonomous Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform, today announced it has been named a 2018 Top Workplace in the Greater Austin Area by the Austin American-Statesman. The list is based solely on employee feedback through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC that measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and overall connection.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized as one of the top places to work in the Austin area,” said Greg Martin, co-founder and CEO of JASK. “We recognize that our long-term goal of modernizing security operations is one that requires passion and dedication, so we are focused on cultivating a company culture that makes people excited to come to work every day and be a part of a team that is tackling important challenges. This honor is validation that we are successfully executing on our strategy to put our people first, and I could not be more proud of the camaraderie that is evident in the office every day.”
Recognizing Austin as a rising tech startup hub filled with rich cybersecurity talent, JASK established its second headquarters in the city in September 2017. Since, JASK has more than doubled its employee headcount and has added several key executives that live and work in the Austin area to its leadership team.
The Top Workplaces honor adds to JASK’s significant momentum this year. Last month, the company was recognized as a Firestarter by 451 Research, included on CNBC’s prestigious Upstart 100 list and named cybersecurity veteran Jessica Couto as its channel chief. Earlier in the year, JASK launched its Special Ops threat hunting service, closed a $25 million Series B funding round, added world-class talent to its leadership team and announced several key strategic partnerships with top cybersecurity brands to bolster the capabilities and reach of the JASK ASOC platform.
JASK is modernizing security operations to reduce organizational risk and improve human efficiency. Through technology consolidation, enhanced AI and machine learning, the JASK Autonomous Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform automates the correlation and analysis of threat alerts, helping SOC analysts focus on the highest-priority threats, streamlining investigations and delivering faster response times. www.jask.com
